The Robin Winkler Clinic is a clinical psychology unit linked to the School of Psychology at the University of Western Australia. The Clinic provides individual and group therapy for adults, children, and adolescents of all backgrounds with a wide range of difficulties.

Groups for Social Phobia and Smoking Cessation are run regularly. Weight Management Groups started early in 2004. The Clinic also functions as a training and research facility. It is staffed by people trained in psychology and now being supervised as part of their postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Western Australia.

What Happens when you contact the Clinic?
We will send you information on the Clinic and questionnaires to help us to understand you better.  Once you have returned these forms, one of our therapy team will contact you to arrange an appointment.  This first session will involve an interview with one of our therapy team and filling out additional questionnaires.  At this point we will be able to suggest a treatment plan.  Treatment usually runs for eight sessions.  If you and your therapist feel that more or less treatment would be better, this can be arranged. The Robin Winkler Clinic is open from 8.30am until 5.00pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am until 7.30pm on Wednesday and from 11.30am until 8pm on Monday.

What are the fees for our service?
The cost of a 50-minute session is $15 if paid on the day of appointment, or $20 if you wish to pay at a later session.  The first assessment session is usually one and a half hours and the fee is $22.50.

Where to Find Us
The Robin Winkler Clinic is located at 10-12 Parkway, Nedlands.  It is the white cottage on your left as you enter the University's Parkway Entrance Number 2.  There is ticket parking on Parkway and visitor parking through the University's Parkway Entrance Number 1.
