Research interests

My main research interests are in clinical psychology. Within this broad domain my research focus tends to be “real world” and I am interested in three main areas.  First, I am interested in ways to deliver effective and efficient psychological services. Second, I am interested in how thought suppression is involved in anxiety and depression and how best to treat the negative effects. Third, I am interested in the anxiety disorders, especially in blood-injury phobia, and the best ways to reduce phobic avoidance.
